Say A Little Prayer For...
I am sorry to have to report that in the last 8 hours, I have gotten several requests for prayer. One from a dear friend whose father is having surgery to remove cancer--hoping that the cancer has not spread; another from a dear neighbor whose wife was rushed to the emergency room last night. I have a sense that their is a storm brewing on the horizon--a feeling of uneasiness. I know that God is bigger than any health problem or any other issue, but it sure is nice to know that friends and neighbors, and sometimes, even people we don't know, care enough to say a prayer and hope for the very best. So, I will be saying my prayers for my friends and know that some day, I will be asking them to return the favor. If you would like to pray for them, their names are Scott and Hannah. "Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 4:6,7)
