Actions Speak Louder Than Words

I love my job! The hours are long--but I decide how many of them I want to work. The environment is friendly and upbeat. The clients are awesome. The pay is good. But the thing that I like most about my job is the miracle of change that occurs in a few special clients that "get it". These clients have discovered that each choice either brings you closer or further away from your goals, and they have chosen wisely. My walk with the Lord is much the same. I need to make choices, consistently, that say, "I love you, Lord Jesus." Actions speak louder than words--in the Weight Room and in the Kingdom.

Great post, Joyce. We just talked about this in TEAM this morning - that being a disciple of Christ means being an ACTIVE follower - it's making that daily decision to walk with Him and learn from Him.

Now if I could just make better FOOD choices on a routine basis!

Dear Stephanie & Lori,

Thanks for the reading my blog. I am new at this and have enjoyed the accountability and discipline of knowing other brothers and sister in the Lord, are "running the race" with me. Go Team!
